For The Love of a Pooch!
That's how it all started for Ruff Ruff Bakery.
I first saw Rusty's picture on Petfinder.com and immediately started to laugh at this wonderfully funny blond face with that huge black nose!
When we met, he reminded me of, Clem Kadiddlehopper, with his funny little walk. Then he stole my heart. Rusty climbed up on my lap and put both of his huge paws on my shoulders, looked at me, and I said, "You're not going anywhere!"
Rusty has had a series of eye problems resulting in the loss of both of his eyes. This is not a sad story, but one of encouragement. During Rusty’s recovery and adjustment to his vision loss, I wanted to make training treats for “The Boobah” (Rusty’s favorite nickname).
I started to develop recipes with natural ingredients that added great taste without any harmful chemicals or additional fat content, thus perfecting a line of treats that was good enough for my little guy and his pals.
Not only does Rusty love the treats, (Oooh That Lovin' Liver & Bacon Flavor Treat! is his favorite), but the neighborhood pooches do too!
Hey, Rusty wanted me to tell you that our treats are all Wheat & Corn Free!
Ruff Ruff Bakery treats are now available at Whole Foods Markets throughout Southern California, Arizona and Nevada!
We still go to our original favorites, Torrance Certified Farmer's Market every Saturday and Hollywood Certified Farmer's Market on Sunday, both from 8am -1pm.
Rusty wants all his friends from the Whole Foods Markets, California Certified Farmer's Markets in Hollywood & Torrance, our pet store partners, the El Segundo Dog Park Buddies & "The Playa Gang", to know that he appreciates their business.
